Holding Tank vent Filter - do they really work?

You're right. I have not had a lot of boaters "discover" me yet. So it would be great if you order one and install it. If you like it - tell every one on CSR how great it is. You can also give me a good rating.

My filter went bad this weekend. Aren't standard fittings 5/8" not 3/4" like on yours?

Not sure what standard you are talking about but the fittings on our filters are categorized by the supplier as 3/4" and they match the SeaLand product. Hoses come in 5/8" and 3/4" but I think the fittings are the same on both to fit a standard hose bib.

I would stay away from Better Boat Products filter on Ebay.
I ordered one the end of June, paid via pay-pal and haven't received it yet, nor have I received a response of my two emails I sent. I just opened a dispute with pay-pal to get my money back! Not Happy!:smt009

I have a homemade one that works well. I refill it once a year since it is easy, and of course usually have to because as least once a year I overfill the holding tank too
