I’m getting ready to flush my AC system and I noticed the two hoses off my pump heading forward but there’s a third hose in the picture it has a ball valve on it that is open any idea what this could be

2 A/C units, right? No Cockpit aftermarket unit? I hate that white inflexible hose SR used on the plumbing. I'd be inclined to chase down the other end of the mystery hose, or at least blow some air through it and listen.

3 units... cockpit AC under helm seating I was thinking drain? but why the ball valve?

yes air is the next step

Any chance it’s the third condensate drain from the cockpit ac? Where did they mount it?

ours does not have that hose so it must be aftermarket

It's strange that there's no evidence of it draining before? If that were a condensate drain I'd expect to see marks on the bilge floor from the discharge...very strange. I wouldn't expect to see a ball valve on a condensate drain either? But...this appears to be a non-conventional setup to begin with so....

Doesn't look to be stock - you're going to have to follow it to see where it goes. If I had to guess... It might have something to do with winterizing or possibly even for flushing the AC system. 'Course, it might not have anything to do with the AC system, either.

Not much winterizing done in Ft. Meyers Florida. Maybe a flushing setup? never know until you find the other end.

Yeah, I saw his location - wasn't sure if the boat had always been there, though?

it was a freshwater boat at one time.. great lakes?

I flushed all my Ac units today with the Frank Webster phostphate program.. all clean and blowing cold..

I had a 3rd hose (2-units) on our 44DB. It had a ball valve on it also. It had been installed to bleed air off the system if it lost prime….
