I put the boat in the water in April and unfortunately I had an engine seize up and had to pull the boat and replace it. After the boat went back in the water my hot water tank will not heat up...it did prior to me pulling and doing the engine work, but it will not work now after....i have looked for inline fuses, no breaker issues, looked for a reset button but could not find one......anyone have any suggestions shy of replacing the tank?

Thanks in advance

There's a little-known circuit breaker on the heater itself. It can be very hard to see depending on how/where your heater is installed. Make sure all power is turned off, then feel where the wiring enters the small box on the end of the heater. There's a small breaker in there, press and presto.

Check both heating element and thermostat. Could be either or and if I recall they're both inexpensive. My thermostat was bad but I figured while I was bent in half replace both
