I just replaced my hot water tank on the 360 last weekend as the old one was rusting out and started to leak about an inch of water. This week I noticed the hot water tank compartment was dry, but the compartment to the right of it seemed to have condensation in it. Not alot but enough to use a paper towel to wipe it out.

It seems like when the hot water tank is on, the compartment next to it gets condensation. Odd I know. I am looking for any suggestions on what might be causing this and how I can avoid it.

The water lines are secure, and the compartment is dry where the heater is. I can't imagine water getting into the compartment as it is sealed.

It sounds to me like there is still some dampness from where you had your leak which may have soaked into the next compartment which is still trying to dry out.It can take a while to dry everything out after a leak, we had a leak on our shower sump & after repairing it & drying the area we still had water appearing for about 2-3 months , especially after taking the boat out to sea. I was convinced that we had another leak but eventually it dried out. If the compartment is sealed can you leave it ventilated on a warm day or put one of those dehumidifier boxes with the crystals in there to absorb the moisture................I am a plumbing & heating engineer so have had to deal with a lot of leaks over the years......hope this helps

Thank you for the suggestions! I put in a fan in there last night, and left the aft salon couch cracked open so fresh air can get in there. Hopefully a week of circulating air should remove all the moisture.
