Yep, that worked...thanks!

What would you say are the main advantages over rigging something up with a floating tow rope?

Right now I just tow it off a corner cleat. Not ideal, but works in a pinch.

I am not adverse to spending money on good solutions. I do hate storing extra stuff though!

I almost had one of these installed last spring: FreedomLift | ULTIMATE Tender Lift Solution | United States

I like the graphite arms option. It's in the US$30K range, installed.

In the end I didn't because I think anything I own at this time that I would put on it is just a little too big for our boat.

I would absolutely love to put a standup jet ski on the swim platform of my boat. My gut tells me its just not a good idea. They range from 325-375#, but add in 4-5 gallons of gas and it being on the edge of the platform and all of the sudden the load is significant. Not to mention the stress and pressure of when the boat is on plane and going over waves, etc.

This off season I'll either be getting a new swim platform or have a fiberglass shop essentially tear it down to nothing and build it back it.

The big advantage versus a rope is it can’t hit the boat when u slow or stop. When I lock thru or maneuver in a tight spot I just tuck it in towards boat .

That makes no sense to me. If you are towing with a rope and stop then the ski is on it's own.
thats what I am saying. But with the towdster its not going to hit the boat.

Towdster tells me that there is plenty of rope at the boat end to use on a cleat, that you don't have to use the metal hooks like if you were pulling with tow hooks.
The ends actually look soft/rubber. That was a concern of mine if they were rubbing on the boat.

Here are all the Towdster videos: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCj_5tSVRBugHGH1SPF3m-Qw/videos
The "TRI" starts at 4:35 in this particular one and this video also has some closer shots of the product:

Do you use the TRI on the 44? I am assuming so and trying to picture how the PCW is prevented from drifting into the boat. Certainly it would if you back up, wouldn't it?

sorry it has not, i tuck it in and tie it off for any reverse moves and its the tri. the tubing of the towdster keeps it off the boat.

no issues so far, only towed with the 390MY and now have the 44DB. I actually think it will work better on the 44.

have been using my homemade Towdster. Working pretty well. This picture is on plane .... maybe 20/21 mph, 3000rpm. At 3200rpm the wake narrows up and the ski might come off the top. This is two 20’ in the V and a 10’ behind that. I have another 10’ I need to try on the back with more rpm. When not going somewhere on plane I just use the two 20’ers in the V configuration. I wish they were a little more rigid but thee are times that more rigid would be worse. Works perfect at anchor.
