Trying to remove the headliner panel that carries the speakers in the cabin of our 1998 330DA. For the life of me, can't see how it is attached, and don't want to just pry it off. I can remove the Plexiglas light panels, and peer into the space, but see no visible signs of attachment. Anybody have clue. Thanks for any advice.

touch along edges and you'll feel screw heads under headliner
in those areas vinyl is only tucked in (not stapled)
carefully pull out some vinyl and unscrew panels
some aresa can use so called "christmas tree" fastners

jamieH,

Not trying to use you as an example (especially as a new member to the club) but this is a perfect example of where I would definately give someone a point for their help. You got someone that knew the answer and gave a great response to the question, just click the button the little button above the square, say I approve, in the comments say thanks and move on.

Boatmailster if I had any left to give I would, I will try and remember once my 24 hour wait period is up.

Wesley
