Hello,
New owner of a 2011 260 sundancer. As the tropics are heating up, i realize I need a plan for my boat in the event a hurricane threatens the chesapeake bay. My boat is on a lift at podickory point, so pretty exposed. My options are pull the boat there if they have space in boatel, or take somewhere else and have it pulled. I do not have a trailer or access to a trailer. Podickory point is directly on the bay just north of sandypoint and just south of the mouth of the Magothy. I was not there for Isabel but know the parking lot and all the docks were under water.
Any recommendations for marinas that are more protected, or have higher elevations to place hauled boats. I may schedule some service at Marinemax in Joppa were i bought it and see if they will rack it for me.
