During the winter I try and check the boat every 2 weeks. I keep the heat set to 60 to keep things dry and prevent problems with the occasional cold snaps. Checked Jan. 2, no problem. Just checked last Tuesday, the 16th, and the fan is blowing but no heat! Cabin temp was air temp., about 55. Compressor not running and no water discharge. I shut the system off for 10 minutes then turned it on. It came on and it sounded like the compressor wanted to kick on but it kicked off almost immediately. I didn’t have any tools nor the time that day. Going down to look at it in more detail this week. Any thoughts/suggestions on where to start to look for the problem. ‘05 340 in coastal NC, so the weather is not particularly extreme. Normally it can get down below freezing overnight but is usually in mid-40s to 50 during the day.
