Adding HVAC to 280DA
I was wondering if anyone had ever seen a thread or thought themselves about adding a HVAC unit to the rear of a 280DA? Iknow this may seem silly to some. I really would have loved installing the windows and dropping the temp a tad this past summer. I think to be able to cool that area while the windows are up would be sweet, and enlarge the baby areas for my kids. My wife kept the six month down below most of last summer due to the heat we have here.
I would think the Gen could do another unit if you kept the other things off... Like the stove. H2o Heater.... Just to even get that area cool at the slip would be nice...Plus, If im already running my Genset I might as well RUN my Genset... They do say to load it up, right???
Any ideas what size (btu's) you would need for that area?? I can think of three good places to drop the unit. I could easily swap the area below the sink for air at the helm. Plus to be able to warm some winter nights above....Hmmmmmmmm Where do you begin with the math of BTU's and how much more power the Kholer has to spare????
Thanks guys!!!!
