You're a happy Sea Ray owner.
How many of you would sell your pride and joy if the price was right?
Maybe you want a bigger boat, a smaller one... different style... maybe you want to take advantage of other peoples misfortune and snap up a distress sale somewhere... ?
What would you do?
Just curious...

Yes, I would sell her for the “hypothetical” on million dollar!!!:grin::grin:

I'd sell, but the price would have to be REALLY right. When I bought my 550 I bought it cheap because it was a repo boat from the Great Lakes. After I bought it I spent about $50K to add equipment to it.

If someone wanted to buy it the bottom line would have to be enough to compensate me for all I went through to get it home. There would have to be a LOT of profit in the deal above the total that I paid to get it.

In the end, EVERYTHING I have is for sale.....If The Price Is Right!

I'm always... always... looking and potentially selling! Someday the perfect offer and the perfect boat will actually get me of my duff.

No I won't sell. Can't imagine someone would be stupid enough to offer me enough to make we want to sell... I don't want a bigger boat now, and I am happy with what I got... I would sell my 190 SD... We did not use it this year at all...

It's a thing. If I got a decent price sufficiently above market, it would be gone. Bye bye.

The restoration creedo: "When it's finished, it's for sale." Worked on my 350, 4 bolt main, S10 for a year.. sold. Scout II 4X4 a year... sold. 69 2 door Lincoln town car.. sold etc...

Been working on my marriage for 38 years. Still aint done so not for sell.

Sorry to disagree and call me romantic, but...it’s not just a thing!!!
There’s too much time, work, money and love we put in them to be considered just things...It’s about good memories, friendship, family...
And I guess your signature just means that!

Bill, how can you do that??? After a restoration I would never sell my toy!!! Been through with a few cars myself and I am not able to sell them... not to mention the boat!!!

They are all for sale - but the price has to be right. It would have to be above market price for me. I have to tell you, all the little things I do to my boat tend to add up. From replacing the horn to touching up the engines. Some of these boats that don't get maintained. I can see a long list of items on the repair list. That would be the frustrating part with a different boat is the shakedown time.

Mine will be up for sale as soon as I put it back together. Hopefully make a little extra $$ and get some thing a little faster.

I don't get attached to physical items, offer me payoff and it's gone! The time and money spent working on it are just part of boating...

I'm with you... must be the sunbrella fabric on the seats.

For the right price, I would hit the bid and run.
