tobnpr: that area has to be one of the best if not the best areas in the world for cruising.
The water temperature was anywhere from about 16 C in the Gulf islands to 25 C further north in Desolation sound.
We spent almost 3 weeks there last summer and put over 900 Km on the boat. When we were there air temp was in the mid 30s and we only had one night of rain, a thunderstorm one evening while in pirates cove.
We're headin back there this summer too.
And to get back on topic I can't wait for the Gold metal game between Canada and Russia in mens hockey. :smt038
