I have an older (1979) Sea Ray. Oive on Puget Sound and it is a great all around boat. As far as I can figure out, it is an SRV225 and is a "weekender". Does anyone know what "SRV" stand for, if anything??

DA is the abreviation for Sundancer... SD is sundeck.... dont know what the other one is

I know what DA and DB are refering to, what I meant was what do they actually stand for? "Double Aft" for example

SRV

SRV is just the beginning code name for Sea Ray Vessel

Sea Ray usually named their specific models for example, if you look in the archives, I have a 1983 SRV 260DA which is a 260 Sundancer.

The SRV according to Sea Ray (I called them) stood for the Sea Ray Vessel

Hope this helps..

Happy Boating!!
