I've been working on this problem for days. Bottom line is I have replaced the ignition module, distributor, spark plugs, spark plug wires, ignition coil and starter. When I hook up a remote starting switch to the starter, and have the key switch to the on position, the boat starts instantly and runs excellently. However, when I try to start the boat with the key, it just cranks over and over and over but never starts. I used a spark plug tester to identify that there is no spark when using the key to start the engine. I have replaced the ignition key switch with a new one, and still nothing. I'm not sure where to go from here.

Also, I've verified the safety switch under the throttle is working. I've also verified the shift safety switch is working correctly. I've also replaced the slave solonoid.

Here's a picture of the back of my ignition switch, I believe it's wired correctly.

Try jumping switch terminals with screwdriver with key on, new doesn't always mean 'good'. Could be wiring is off, too.

got the r/y on the s terminal and red on the I ? What did you have the starter button connected to?

The remote start buttong/switch is connected directly to the starter, one on the main power and one on the starter wire.

When I replaced the ignition switch, I thought I had the wires in the same spots as the old one, does it not look right?

To be clear, when I turn the key over, the engine cranks and keeps trying to start, but I've verified there's no spark. When I bypass the key and just use the remote start, she fires right up. So I know it's something in the ignition circuit preventing spark.

I'll try this tomorrow when I get back there.

Like your bypassing the 90 amp fuse? Cant see the letters on your switch pic
Where is a 90 amp fuse? I see a big fuse on top of block but I thought it was a 50

If you can crank with the key you have system power available So on a ign switch
B Red power feed
I ign feed, purple wires
S solenoid feed Yellow/red stripe
No such thing as "I put them where I thought they go"
