I'll be losing my Mom soon

Hey Wayne, Sorry to hear this. I lost my dad and grandpa the same way. I know it's tough but she's probably is make the right call. Any delaying action I've seen has just prolonged the pain. Keep us posted my friend.

Wayne,
Make the most of the time you have, Make good memories.
Thinking of you

Lost my mom a couple of years ago. Managed to see her just before she slipped away. Lost my dad 10 yrs ago and still feel that

Wayne,

I am sorry to hear about your mother. I will keep you and your mother in my prayers.

Wayne, I am sorry to hear about your mom. Everyone here is wright, be there for her and she will live on in your memories. I lost my mom three years ago and I still want to pick up the phone to talk to her. She also lived a long life (93). My prayers are with you and your family. If I can do anything, please let me know, I am only about 1/2 hr away.

Connie

Sorry to hear the news, our thoughts and prayers are with her, you and your family.
It's tough but make the best of this time.

Give that Brave Lady a hug from us! Good decision on her part.....a good full life! My Mom will be 80 this year and widowed twice. Death is something we cannot escape....Mike.

Wayne
Sorry to hear. Go spend as much time as you can with her.

God bless you and your Mom. Never easy. My parents are gone. Sometimes I feel like my Mom is near and content. Both good.

Thanks Guys & Gals for all the thoughts and prayers..... You guys are truly the best !!. :smt001

I'm back home living in the mini upstairs apartment to watch over her.

All is fine for now.

PS, My sister Nancy is a idiot & drama queen !!! :smt021, Hospice/Nurse are stopping in once a week NOT 3 times.

Wayne,

Just had an idea. Get a tape recorder or set up a video camera and if your mom is able then do a biography of her life in her own words. Ask her questions, ask her about her life and experiances. If she is able to do this she will perk up a bit because she knows that her life history will be passed down to her grand kids and great grand kids in her own words.

Just a thought and saw a great opportunity to honor your mom.

I'm sorry for you, tough stuff.

Wayne, I feel your pain with the drama queen. My sister-in-law decided to take over when my dad got sick. He went through months of hell going in and out of the hospital until I found out about it and put a stop to it.Doctors only gave him a few months while he was in the hospital. He lasted a whole year on his own with no hospitals. Pasted away peacefully in his own bed.

I pray for the same for your mom when it's time.

Wayne, as I said my dad has lung cancer, my youngest sis is a nurse and great , my older sis is an idiot!!! Drama queen!!!! Between me (aka) first responder) and her we handle chemo and radiation visits ok, my older sis , is asking stupid questions, crying, etc , just kinda"look at poor old me" syndrome , so your not alone brother. Keep your head up and kiss MoM daily!!!!

Sorry to hear this Wayne...been there myself. The last words my mother said to me were " Don't worry, I'm going to be OK and you'll be OK too".
