Well I just bought a new (refurbished) Garmin color depth finder and installed it yesterday on my 2004 220 Select. A little more work than I thought it would be. In order to mount the screen on the dash I had to remove the dash. The space between the windshield and the dash was just to small to get a drill into for the mounting bolts. I used the transom mount transducer and was able to mount it on the back passenger side and snake the cable up through the blower motor drain hole. This allowed me to get the cable into the boat without drilling a 3/4" hole to pass the connector through. I still have to seal the screws that hold the transducer cable to the back of the boat, I didn't have sealant like I thought I did. I should have a report on function this next weekend when I splash the boat.
Now if I could figure out how to mount some very inconspicuous rod holders for the occasional fishing trips I will be golden.
