Installed The Smart Tab SSX tabs have a question?

You need to adjust the tabs a bit and back them off. They are too far down and causing you to loose a little on the top end.

You may want to try both 1 and 2, make runs with each to see which is best, they should do everything they are advertised to do. You do have the 60lb actuators right, that is what you should have, when I got mine I had the 80lb, could not get the bow up, John swapped the 60lb. Good luck and enjoy, you will like them.

I got the NAU-SX9510-80-BL

I am guess that means it the 80 but the website says for the HP my boat has this is the one to get. I took the boat out this weekend and set to 3 the boat was slower but the fron still came up a little.

Yes that is the 80lb actuator, and yes the chart does show that for the horsepower, but in red it shows 4,6 cyl I/O on the line above where the 60lb actuator is. I feel that you will have to call them back and get a 60lb swap to get the best performance from the tabs. I think the 80lb is just going to be too strong. Another thing is if they are too strong they will also increase fuel consumption instead of reduce fuel consumption.

Thanks I just called them up they said I could test it out this weekend set to 1 and if I notice it is still slowing the boat down or anything they will swap them for the 60. I guess before I go through the hassle of swapping it out I will test it since last weekend I was testing them with the tab's set to 3.

I would test it for sure in the lightest setting and see what happens just in case it works, in my case it was just to strong even at the lightest setting. I made several good runs at different settings. You should be able to bring the boat out of the water far enough that the comes out from under behind where you are when driving. Your speed should increase at your cruising rpm, at least mine did. I have a set run that I make from my dock to the beach and back, hour each way, I use at least a gallon less in fuel on that run with the tabs than before tabs, so if you have a set run like that you can make that would be a good test to check fuel consumption.
