I hit something underwater bent two props and damaged the keel for a foot at the front. No leak or shaft damage. I have Boat US. I called them they dived the boat, arranged for moorage and found me a repair facility. Very impressed with the service. I have $10,000 towing coverage in my insurance.
Question should I request the insurance company reduce my $1,000 deductible because they did not have to pay for the tow and dive. The tow people had come 50 miles to save us.
