It's painfull owning a boat.

Let me add as I get close to 50 myself the pain in boating owning can only be amplified by adding other sports this late in life. The past few weeks included the normal cleaning along with installing a Lowrance chart plotter and radar system and additional speakers. Even with fiberglass rods to help getting around the positions that my body has had to get into. :smt021 Know this week has included one night of volleyball, since last weekend two 50 mile mountain climbing atv rides. Can you say vicodin extra strength. Like they say we can rest when we get to Heaven. Need to go to work so I can take a break.:smt015

Heh, try having to get four stitches in your toe from getting it caught on a hose clamp. The tab that sticks out when it's tightened, got it stabbed just under the skin and then about 3/4" in. Made a nasty looking 'pocket' sort of like a blister. Just slapped some electrical tape 'round the toe and got it stitched up back home about an hour and half later.

Now the hassle is untangling the fact that someone screwed up and the claim wasn't covered properly because it was filed somehow related to work? The pain of the injury was trivial, the headaches of dealing with insurance people, now that's painful.

Every trip into the engine compartment results in scraped shins or legs from clamps, or hold downs, etc...:smt101

Once broke 2 ribs while cleaning snow off of the tarp on and older Sea Ray.
Slipped of of the swim platform and landed on the ribs. That hurt...:wow:

Hehe... You guys are giving me a lot to look forward to.

I have only owned my boat since July 29th. No injuries to report at this time

Thanks a bunch,
Michael

Maybe we could get an official CSR warning poster to be mounted on the underside of each engine hatch. Face of Gary, wincing in pain. That's enough warning for anyone. :smt043
