...FREEZE WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT LATE TONIGHT...

A FREEZE WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT LATE TONIGHT.

COLD CANADIAN AIR WILL CONTINUE WORKING INTO THE REGION TODAY
WHICH WILL COMBINE WITH CLEARING SKIES OVERNIGHT TO ALLOW
TEMPERATURES TO FALL INTO THE UPPER 20S AND LOWER 30S ACROSS
MANY AREAS. ALTHOUGH TEMPERATURES WILL FALL BELOW FREEZING
ACROSS...WIDESPREAD FROST IS NOT EXPECTED AT THIS TIME AS
WINDS REMAIN ELEVATED THROUGHOUT THE OVERNIGHT HOURS. :smt013 . :smt013 . :smt013

I agree! This is crap. Launced the boat yesterday morning but didn't take it to our marina as it started thundering and in the afternoon the wind started picking up. So hopefully I will get a decent day to take it down the river to its summer home.

It was snowing off and on here yesterday as well. I threatened to send the crew (kids) out last night for some "Deadliest Catch-style" ice clearing. They didn't seem to appreciate my humour!

Wow, we didnt get snow but it is 36 degrees here this morning. We had 60 mph winds yesterday and sideways rain :>(

I was in MN thursday and they were chanting snow. I thought they were all nutts talking about snow anywhere this time of year. hope it melts quick. 70* here in Portland Oregon this weekend.

OK OK I will stop anyway if this helps I spent 37 years in Boston. So I know what you are going through. I have seen snow in April-May.
Thats why I moved.

apperently it takes a long time to thaw 37 years of boston chill out of you.

Cool !!! Clams & Lobsters are on Rick's dime then. :smt038

It's been snowing here all day, not sticking to anything, melting as soon as it hits so far.

Do you guys have leaves on your trees?

The snow won't bother them but the freezing weather could cause problems. We had that happen here in Charlotte several years back. The trees just had leafed out and we got hi-teen temperatures overnight. Many of the trees dropped their leaves and it took about a month for them to come back.

It's that derned global warming.

Thankfully, the globes are pretty warm down here.

Can somebody had me some sunscreen, I have a lawn to mow and a garden to plant.

Trees are of a hardier variety up here, so the leaves will generally survive the back and forth of spring. Tulips and in bloom as are a number of other flowers in the garden.
