I don't get the "flashing a gun" thing. If someone puts me in a position where I need to pull my gun it means they are going to be shot. I'm not a brandishing kind of person.
I hope to never need to use my gun. But my bigger fear is to not have my gun when I need to use it.
You and me both. Quite frankly, I am much less likely to get into an altercation or confront someone when I am carrying. I have put my hand on my gun with the thought of needing it to protect myself exactly one time. Long story, but it was a situation in downtown St. Louis, which can be very dangerous. It was especially dangerous during the first days of COVID when there was no one but criminals on the streets. 100% sure a giant thug was pacing me to mug me. I put my hand inside my backpack (that's how I carry when I go to clients) and on my gun. We locked eyes for a second then a look of realization as to what I did crossed his face and he immediately crossed the street and took off.I hope to never need to use my gun. The guy probably just wanted one of them St. Louis ribs you were carrying. Couldn’t throw a brother a bone?We locked eyes for a second then a look of realization as to what I did crossed his face and he immediately crossed the street and took off.
