Jobbie Nooner, Where to stay????

So just under 125 day's till Jobbie Nooner. This year im towing the 24 up there. Can anyone tell me of a good place to stay thats close to nice public ramps??????:huh: Last year we went up on the 34, and stayed on the boat, but the wife just does not want me to spend that on gas again.........I would like to stay some where that has enough room for the boat and the suburban.... thank you all for your input. Rob, I can't tell you where to stay, but I CAN tell you that we all would like to see pics when you get back!!!

There are a few places you could stay that are pretty close to ramps, personally i would suggest the Concord Inn on gratiot in clinton twp, it is a nice newer hotel that has plenty of room for the truck and boat and it is only about 3 miles from a nice launch that drops you right neer the mouth of the clinton river about a 20-30 min ride over to the excitement. Only thing is i would call ahead as the hotel is usually used for housing some of the military if they are in town for drills at selfridge. Anouther bonus is this hotel has a pretty nice pool and rec center so if you were up early or afterward there is always somewere to go other than the room and the lake if needed.

the best ramp to use is the DNR ramp that is located at M-59 and Jefferson Ave. it has alot of ramps and alot of parking, and like stated in a earlier post, its only 2 or 3 miles down M-59 from the hotel youll be staying at.......

The wife and I will be there. We don't get into the crazy side of Jobbie, mostly people watch and have some cocktails. We would be happy to tie up with you as long as you are not planning on being super close to Gull. We like to be close enough to have fun, but far enough to be able to GTFO when we are ready to leave.

I personally would use the South River road launch. Huge parking lot, lots of ramps, straight shot to Gull. The only down side is the Macomb County sheriff's station is right there.
