Jon Gruden out as Da Raidaz HC

I can promise you I will not be watching the Super Bowl this year so definitely not the halftime show either. I did watch the 2nd half of the Steeler game last night just cause there was nothing else on but it took alot for me to pay much attention. Being a die-hard life-long Steeler fan I really didn't care if they won or lost. Really don't care if they lose the rest of their games. It's really hard for me to see the criminals names on the back of their helmets. These are people that broke the law then did not obey police commands. In most cases they probably didn't deserve to die but they were the ones that escalated it. Having worked in law enforcement I know how quickly things can go bad and have been through the training they have been through. Decisions need to be made in a split second and your priority is to make sure you go home at the end of your shift. Bad things can happen when you fight with the police.

On my first day in training we were asked how many calls do we think we would go on that would involve a gun. There were many answers but all were wrong. the answer was 100%. The police officer will always have his gun so every call can involve a gun.

My son is a bail bondsman. We debate all the time. I tell him I can’t carry concealed because I know I’ll use it if needed. If I did I know I’d go to jail, probably lose my assets and ultimately my freedom.

In Florida, if you carry, and pull, you better use it w lethal intent or you’ll be prosecuted for assault, assault with deadly weapon, and if you touch its aggravated assault w deadly weapon. If you shoot you better end it if you want any chance of going free.

The fing high and mighty who blame all those criminals deaths on the police have never been faced with a split second life or death decision. Hell, most of them have never been in any dangerous situation in their lives.

I find carrying concealed makes me much calmer. I am far less likely to confront someone for petty shit that pisses me off but isn't a threat to anyone. I know how quickly that can escalate. I don't want to have to shoot someone for being a dick. I carry because you just don't know these days who is and isn't armed.

This summer, two dudes (one black and one white) bumped into each other walking down the isle of a sporting goods store in an upscale suburban mall here. Neither one wanted to alter their path. Both got pissed, drew on each other and started shooting. One dead, one wounded. Crazy.

After I left I hardly ever carried anywhere. About 3 or 4 years ago I started carrying everywhere I go. My oldest step-son is a detective and carries everywhere, even when he comes here to visit...lol. My other step-son and my son both usually have theirs in the vehicle but not always on them and my daughter almost always has hers in her purse. Just hope none ever need to use them. Well my step-son already has but that was years ago and he was on duty and was found to be a justified shooting but it still took a toll on him mentally. The bad guy survived but it was still traumatizing to him

ya agree, shoot someone in Maryland you will be bankrupt with lawyer fees defending yourself. Kill them you will be bankrupt with lawyer fees defending yourself. No win.
