We took our "new to us" 390 EC out for a little run this afternoon. We headed out of the marina and south on the ICW to Peanut Island. We then went out Palm Beach Inlet and cruised south about 2 miles off Palm Beach to the Breakers Hotel and headed back. Seas were 3' or less and there were quite a few boats at Peanut Island and in the port of Palm Beach. High today was 85.

This is the view of the sunset as we headed back into Soveral Harbor Marina.

We were able to get a boat "fix" in too.
Not as warm as 85, but glass flat water and no wind. I could really use 85 for a weekend. We awoke to 29 yesterday AM.

Lucky B*stard..........we'll at least our water's still a liquid and we were able to get out there.

My boat probably misses that weather. I bought it just across from Sanger Island, then brought it up North here to Panama City.

Sprink,

Nice 390, and nice to see a classic SeaRay. Ours is 10 yrs old this year, but we have only had it for 5 yrs. I think we will be keeping it for a long time.

What is the name? We'll look for you at Peanut Island. We are Sea-esta, renting a slip a few canals north of Soveral Harbor

OK, I will keep that in mind until you say otherwise.

FYI, Randy might be coming up to Peanut Island this weekend if you guys are out and about. I might come along as well.

Sprink56, were you complaining about it being 85 or just rubbing it in to us far north boaters???

It was single didgits this morning when I got up. Made it all the way to 25 today. My 300 is under wraps for another 8 weeks or so.

I just wish I had your "problem".

Power Ball is gonna be aver 100 million this weekend........I think I would buy a place were I could boat all year long.......maybe even order that new 75 footer that SR is working on.......

Take care.

I came to South Florida in January 1976. I got on a plane in my home town of Birmingham, Al at 4 PM on a Sunday afternoon and it was 18 degrees. Two hours later I steped off the plane in Miami at 6 PM and it was 78 degrees. I decided right then and there that I was changing my lattitude to one that started with 26 instead of 36. I moved to this area in April of '76.

I never take my winter weather for granted.
