Just ordered this cover for our 240DA...

My dad ordered from them for a pontoon cover. He wanted to use for winter cover. His is a very thin waterproof material. The cover is very loose fitting and really wouldn't do the job unless you use over the existing cover to prevent water pooling (sounds like you would be doing this).

Little Bit, we keep a cover on our 240DA during the offseason. Be aware that any rain will pool up on the cover over the foredeck and form a rather substantial swimming pool. We ended up putting a plastic recycle container over the hatch to raise the cover in the middle and then then running lines from the windshield to the front bowrails to help mitigate the amount of water that collects. YMMV.

Cover looks great. It might be worth getting one just to prevent some sun bleaching/dust accumulation if we don't plan on going out for a few weeks here and there. Quick question off topic I thought of while seeing your boat on the trailer. Do you ever have a problem with the anchor locker clamshell drains hitting the roller on your trailer when launching? Mine seem to thump over the roller.

Yes, thanks! I used some mooring rope to support the cover from the bow rail to the windshield. It was tested with the rains we got over the weekend and seems to work okay.

No, I have not.
Is your bow roller adjustable, is it just above the the bow eye? If so I might suggest maybe you are backing your trailer in too deep... I see a lot of folks do that. I just barely submerge my trailer fenders; and then drive (power) the boat on and off the trailer using the bunks to lift the bow and perfectly align the stern on the trailer every time. My sweet spot is with the fenders just submerged; your spot may be different but it sounds like the bow needs a little lift... hope that helps. :smt001

Holy cow your bow roller must be way out of adjustment.....or like Little Bit eluds you are backing in to deep.

We dont have a very steep ramp and I can back in until i'm floating without powering off. It's just at that point the bow kind of slides down over the roller and the clamshells thump. I'll try to adust the roller down a little so by the time the boat slides off the trailer the clamshells are past the roller. The trailer is for a 24-26' 8900# boat so I'm having to do some adjusting to get it just right. Thanks for the reply.
