Just sharing a bit of good news.......

As many of you know I have Stage 4 Prostate cancer. I've had my series of chemo infusions and am on a daily regimen of pills, 13 in the morning, 3 at night, and two shots every 3 months.

About 2 years ago I had a bone scan done to determine how far the cancer had spread through my body. I saw the pictures they took of my bones and it scared the crap out of me.

This past Friday I had another bone scan done. Takes about 45 minutes and they take photos from several different angles. The pictures are seeing the gamma ray injection I had gotten before the test.

When it was all done, the nurse who had administered the test came out to me and said "Mike, I've been here 22 years and that is one of the best scans I've ever seen."

Now I gotta tell you, I was so overwhelmed by her comment I didn't ask some questions I should have to find out if the cancer in my body had reduced.

I didn't so I'll have to wait a few days until I can view the results of the test and then until the end of August till my next appointment with my doctor. When the results are posted to my online thread from the hospital I'll update this.

Anyway, I'm just tickled.

Great News!

Let me give you an old quote:

"Seek and you shall find,
Ask, and it shall be delivered unto you."

Ask any question and I'll give you my best answer.
