New to us 270 Sundancer with the Kenyon Kiss Butane stove. We bought the boat end of last year and havent used the stove yet, but heading out for a weekend in a couple weeks and was planning on using it for some cooking. The more i've been reading about these, the more i've been seeing that they're basically fire hazards and discontinued.

Has anyone replaced them with anything else?

Anyone been using theirs for years no problem?

I took it out and use the space for kitchen-ware and use this in stead on top of the glass

I have the Kenyon electric grill built in to the Bar I made. But I have used that Kenyon butane burner since it was on the market, easily 20+ years. Used it just last weekend. That said it is an open flame and precautions need to be taken because of that. I have seen more propane gas BBQ's that almost burned the boat down then these burner tops. JMO.

Edit: Sorry I was referring to the portable version. Like in the above post. But we have used it in the cabin and on deck. I had 30 Regal and took the stove out and put the portable on in place of it.
