Keowee 2009 Labor Day?

The head cruise director is on vacation I think. The lowly assistant will offer a suggestion. Here is a link for some hotels close by. The newest one is the Garden Inn. Either hotel at 19B is fine. There are some more up there but I can't think of them at the moment. Sadler you would be ahead to stay at the hotel instead of going back to where you live. There is no good way to get to Keowee from your town.

Here is another link. Most of this group is all around 123 in Clemson. 123 is closer than exit 19 on I85. Probably cheaper and I THINK they are all OK. I still like the Garden Inn in the above post but it is 20 minutes further than these and probably more money. Salem has nothing that I know of. Highlands probably will be a fair ride for most of you.

Who ever needs a room and wants to stay in Clemson probably needs to be thinking about it. If Clemson is having some type of activity that weekend they can fill up quickly.

There are other motels out on I85 at exit 19 if anyone is intersted that should not be as pricey. I do not have inside knowledge like the cruise director does. She did pick a good B&B for us. Guess I don't get a promotion. Forgot the link. Lets try again.

The Hampton Inn in Clemson is already booked full for Saturday night. I checked last night.

We,ve stayed at one in Seneca when we go to see family up there, Janet's father lives ther if need be i could look in to it. I don't remember the name of it, it was nice, not a dump.

I only get to sleep on the boat when it is just me. When the family is along have to find somthing else:smt089

Those of you looking for Hotel Rooms , I believe part of the issue with rooms that weekend is that Clemson has their first football game Saturday, and that is going to burn up a great deal of the room availability for miles around.

I googled Seneca SC hotels, there are 6, very close to Keowee marina, I didn't ck for vacancys
 
Got the falls on Jocassee covered. Any that want to join in...come on. I can put you on them. All 5. If you want a good laugh though, ask Jay to be the land guide. Theres a reason all persons need to learn to climb falls as a child. LOL
