Kohler Genset
hi everyone, the genset ran for less than a minute and then gave fault of CO 6. In the manual the fault is inoperable CO sensor and the recommendation is replace the CO sensor. Does anyone have a part number? is this is simple change?

I did search the forum but nothing on this particular issue. Any help is appreciated.

I don't know if it's a simple change, but manufacturer recommended replacement schedule is every 2 years. Seems excessive to me, but I didn't design it.

Just ordered it, thanks.

I'm assuming it goes somewhere behind the panel?

i got he new CO module and replaced it, pretty much straight forward. I ran the generator for 1 hour after that and all looked good.

By inspecting the older CO model, i noticed that battery connection on the circuit board were corroded. Maybe that is the issue with the module. When i get time, i would like to take apart and replace the battery and test for reuse.

Can you take a picture of the CO module? I've never seen it.
I didn't take mine apart yet. Maybe today. Here is what I think I need.
