I am getting a low coolant error 62 and shutdown very shortly after starting. The impeller is new this year and I verified its still intact. The sea strainer and thru-hull are clean. I am also seeing what looks like (correct me if I am wrong) sufficient water flow from the exhaust/discharge area. I did some other research and read that a coolant pressure switch can go bad (Kohler GM30263) and to test it you remove one lead from it and run the generator. When doing that test how can I tell if thats the culprit and how do I prevent damage from overheating, etc? Any other ideas?

I also noticed that this hose here (between 1 &2) seems collapsed or bent/kink some.

What is the obvious...? The kinked hose? This sounds really dumb..but how? Replace it? It seems like its just not full, if that makes sense.

Good idea. Any particular hose you recommend?

To close the loop. I had a tech out finally. Here is what he found:

Found the heat exchanger end cap on back side of generator where
the pressure switch is installed plugged with debris. Remove port
side sound shield wall to access. Clean out and reassemble and run
test.

I didnt check here...but now I know and this might help someone in the future.
