I was at the marina today and the water is about 8 or 12 inches lower than last year. I put a stick in the water and measured the water level at my slip. If I was standing in the water it would come up to my knees, I am 6 feet tall.

What is everyone else seeing wrt water levels on Lake Huron and Great Lakes. I guess the most important question is - does it usually rise during the season. I can't remember.

Thoughts?

Lake Michigan/Huron is 7" below chart datum now. It is 10" inches lower than a year ago but 2" higher than last month. Google "lake michigan weekly water levels" and go to the Corp of Engineers web site to read all about it.

The snow pack hasn't melted up here yet. Patience and a strong sun should improve conditions.

SBW1 take a look at the link I posted above. Is this the chart you speak of? Daily great lakes water levels by the Corp of engineers......

You are close but I can't post the link. The one I track is a narrative with a table below the narrative. It's called weekly great lakes water levels and shows up on the first page of google (usually the first item). It's updated every Friday.
