Anyone here have their boat on Lake Keowee? I would like to chat with someone about the area for slip fees, jobs, housing, etc... We are looking into moving to South Carolina in the near future.

We have boated on the Lake for 8 years before moving to Pa. It’s a great lake with many coves and islands to anchor in and on. We put in at Crow Creek on the upper east end of the lake. The landing is public and free to use. Check it out on google earth.

You can launch on either the right or left side of the dock and most folks that use it are locals. The ramp is concrete and at a decent angle.

The water temp can range from very warm on the south end to cool on the north end. You can find a temp that suits you on the lake.

I’m not sure what the dock fees are down at the south end but the Tiki Hut is a great watering hole. When we retire we plan to buy on the lake and boat every day weather permit.

Check out the job situation in Seneca, on the south end. My corporate job moved me to Pa. but it won’t keep me here after I retire.

Had some great boating and friend time on Keowee. We had a couple CRS raftups couple years back.
