update on first thread- emergency off switches each has 4 wires- 2 green( factory sealed ends) and 2 black for use- starboard switch has 2 red with stripes coming to it labelled "stbd in" and the other "stbd out"- each wire ties to one of the black---- the port switch has the same MO- "port in" and "port out" each tied to one of the black- I have searched dozens of schematics but can't find one a color coded schematic that details what the layout actually is- the alignment has been shown to be the ignition switch purple to lanyard switch black to the coil or a ground causing an interruption when the lanyard pulls away- my confusion is the presence of the labelled striped red wires with "in" and "out" - the emergency switch is not interrupted when the lanyards are not used- I can start without them-- actual color coded schematic or advice is greatly appreciated-thank you in advance-19ed50

Yikes.

I have nothing to add but I'm glad you are trying to figure this out.

It's one thing not to use them but to go and bypass them is a bold move.

Yikes, is right!
and BOLD would be one word for it.
