Im back in a 2006 Sundancer 260. Was lucky enough to find one with the 496 Mag, and a genset. Threw some Hill Marine 4 blade SS props on her and she performs great. I couldn’t be happier with it.
Had an Axiom 9, I added Quantum Radar.
Based out of Boston and looking at a weeklong cruise of Southern New England
Next week. Depending on weather etc..
Either way, I’m in the right boat. Glad to be back:)

I just bought a 2005 260DA and I'm on Lake Winnipesauke... but I have dreams of eventually going down the ICW... Is this something possible with a 260DA or am I dreaming...

This is only my fourth season. Third with this model boat.
I’m still, and will always be on a learning curve.
But in my opinion, yes. Definitely. I’ve cruised from Boston to Provincetown, Martha’s Vineyard, Cape Cod, and Cuttyhunk.
Both in the 260 and 35’ 2009 330. If I wouldn’t want to go out in conditions in the 260, I wouldn’t in the 330 either.
Just keep an eye on weather and plan your route.
Learn the capabilities/systems of the boat. Know your fuel stops. Congratulations on the 260! It’s a fantastic pocket cruiser and very capable.
Perfect with 2 people for overnighters. I think it’s the best cockpit layout too. I’m keeping this one for the long haul.

Congrats. Do you slip or trailer?

Thanks!
I’m slipped at a marina just outside Boston.
Not cheap but I’m living on it until I pull it at the end of October.
I do have a trailer and it’s nice to have the option.
