2020 SPX190 that drinks about a gallon of water every hour.. Any ideas where it's coming in at? any historical problems?
Sorry, new to the crew here. I posted an earlier thread and did not see the replies, so I reposted a shorter version.
150 OB with 70 hours on it. Seems to have a small leak somewhere. I thought it might be from the forklift at the high n dry where I bought it from. Black hull, I could see white "scuffs" from the ground. Boat was on the top position, didn't get a chance to look closely at it before sea trail. Was talking/deal making with the owner when the put her in the water.

A little information would be helpful

Looks like his signature says a 150HP - so that would be an OB.

Yes, more info would be helpful.

But... historical problems? No. Well, the only "historical" problem that I can think of would be a garboard plug that you didn't tighten enough.

Other than that, you have to put your detective hat on.

You have a new boat take it back to dealer , let them sort out

Hull is a life time warranty is it not

I believe all Sea Rays come with a comprehensive 5 year warranty these days. Or it might be Chaparral that I'm thinking of. But 5 years is pretty much the industry standard these days.
Interesting. I think it used to be 1yr. comprehensive and 5 year hull.
Then again, cars used to be 12/12 bumper to bumper.

Yeah, both of my boats had a 1 year warranty. Both times I reached a deal with MM and when they asked me what they needed to do to get me to sign I told them I needed an extended warranty out to 5 years. On the 240 they wrote a Mercury warranty that covered the motor, outdrive and everything attached to them. On the 270 it was a Brunswick warranty that covered every component for 5 years. Both had a $100 deductible. This year at the boat shows it seemed like every major manufacturer was offering 5 years comprehensive and lifetime on the hull.

I transferred the merc 150 warranty. Not sure if the boat has it. Will check. thanks
