So I bought a 20 pack of led bulbs from amazon to replace my bilge light bulbs. None of them worked. Polarity issue, right? If so, without rewiring, what kind of led bulbs should I buy for an easy change over?
Thanks,
Mark

Be best to put a meter to them and check. Mine are 24 volts

His should be 12v. I purchased from Amazon 2 years ago and all worked perfectly. I will see if I can find what I ordered.

Here is what I purchased:

I had this issue wen I purchased LED bulbs for the whole boat. One type of bulb with the bayonet mount would not come on in some of the fixtures. I traced it back to the polarity issue, where when searay installed and wired the fixtures they had reversed the wires (no big deal when using the standard bulbs-no polarity preference). Removed fixtures and reversed wires behind them- all good then.
