Looking at the 185, 195 and 205 sport and have a storage question.

Can somebody please tell me what the storage length and height of the 185 and 195 is on the trailer??
I am trying to see if it will fit in my garage. I have a 7' door and the garage is 23ft deep. It is a double car door so I am fine with the width.
Thank you.

I would really like the 205 sport but I do not think that would fit at all.

I have a 205 sport. Haven't measured it on the trailer, but with the swing away tongue on the trailer it's pretty close to exactly the boat length.

Still, at 23' you'll be very very very tight for this boat stored.

the 195 isn't much smaller (only 8 inches or so) and likely is factory shipped with the same trailer as the 205.

Even though the swing arm on the trailer helps alot don't forget about the extra length caused by the outdrive. It doesn't fit in my garage because of that:( I forget the depth of my garage adn will be happy to measure it for you when I get home if nobody beats me to it, but I believe it was around 24 with the outdrive. I would ahve had to cut a hole in the wall for the bow or outdrive:) I am still tempted to do it. Just box it out on the other side...

I used to have a Stingray 190lx and with the swing away tongue and the drive in the full down position I still had about 8 inches between the break in the trailer and the door.

I would really like to get the 205 if I could make it work.

Looks like I may be looking at the 195......

Any idea on the height? I posted above I had a Stingray 190lx on a roller trailer and I had about a 4 inch clearance under the 7' opening.

Thanks.

i had a 195 sport before i got my 200 select and it fits in my garage it is a 3 car but i only use the 2 car side of the garage but it fits within inches with the flip back tow hitch when i say inches it really is inches but it fits. i have a tower also when i fold it down i have to take off side arms off but whatever i need to make it fit saves me about 135 a month and have the feeling of having my boat at home a plus:thumbsup:

I think I have narrowed it down to the 185 or 195. I really want a wakeboard tower on either one. Any idea what the height of the boat on the trailer with the tower broken down (quick release) is?? Would it fit in a 7' high opening?

Thanks

I did the measurement for my garage with my '08 185 and with the tounge folded back, it measure just over 21' from the front of the trailer to the tip of the propeller.

I just went through this about a month ago. My garage is 23' and my fits in kitty corner with it trimmed up all the way up. The trailer with the folding tongue sticks out a few feet past the nose. I LOVE my 185.. 195 with the V8 is only a few MPH Faster.. with gas prices today.. happy with my choice. Everyone that rides in my boat is comments about how smooth and quiet it is. Also it very happy with how well it carves.

I see you have the wakeboard tower. Will the 185 fit through a standard 7' high garage door with the tower folded down??
I assume the tower has some sort of quick release on it.
Thanks.

Also, anything bigger then a 185 gets a double ax trailor which you cant as easily maneuver and move around inside the garage. That is why i went with the 185 as well.

Yes the tower folds down in a matter of about 3 to 5 mins. All I need is a allen wrench for 4 bolts just to losen and the 4 knobs. It folds down to about the same height as the windshield.
