I have a 1992 Sea Ray Express Bridge, the hatches are okay but feel a little weak when standing on them. I was wondering if anyone knows a place that still makes older Sea Ray hatches. I have ENGINE HATCH PORT/SRBD 613281 this is the Sea Ray number. Any help would be great.

It's probably going to be really tough to find "good" used ones... or even ANY used ones, at that. Paying someone to make a brand new hatch is going to be pricey. Honestly, your best bet is to just rebuild them. Typically, hatches are one of the easiest things to rebuild since you do all the work from the bottom side. If they're feeling spongy, it's likely just due to a compromised core. Can you post a couple pics of both sides of the hatch? How is your woodworking skills?

I only have a picture of the tops, I don't live close to the boat and really don't have a place where I can do the rebuild. Thanks for taken the

I only have a picture of the top of the deck, I don't live close so getting pictures of the bottom of the hatch or even rebuilding will be hard since I don't have a place to work on them.

That's good enough for now. It's what I was hoping/expecting to see... multiple, smaller hatcches as opposed to one, large hatch. The advantage here is that you can easily remove them and take them home with you to work on - you don't need a big area... or drop them off at a glass repair shop.

Thanks.

Re coring those hatches will be a easy job for any reputable glass shop.
