To be clear, Raymarine does not want this.
Given the financial realities of the company and the fact that no one else has come forward with cash or a offer to buy them, I think this is the best avenue for Raymarine.
Raymarine has some unique products however Garmin is better at touch screens, convergence, and company diversification.
If you could combine the two, that would be best.
I’m a ‘standard replaceable rocker switch' over proprietary touch panel that will be discontinued type of person but I must admit that touch screens are where it’s going.
