Gelcoat was pretty chalky and faded, its been hit here and there over the years with various products.

So I coughed up the 115 bucks and grabbed this:

Grabbed the rotary and a beer or 3 and went to work.

I'm quite happy with the results on 25 year old gel.

Wow, looks nice!

Yup, that is in my arsenal of polishes. I'm a big fan of most the 3M products, expensive but work well. I'm really liking that with a Super Buff (3M wool pad), and I followup with Finesse IT on a foam pad to eliminate ANY swirl marks left behind from the wool pad. You'll get a hundred posts on what wax to use. Its all personal preference. I use a hard wax this time of year (Collinite), and touch up mid season with the liquid. I find the liquids help more in the way as a cleaner wax.

Nice shine!!

Looks great. You may also want to try Presta Super Cut Compound next go around. The stuff is unbelievable. Not that you were looking for recommendations... :)

That looks great! I got a bottle of 3m and Finesse it now I need a full weekend on her. My test area shows great results and I'm not even going have to wet sand! Thank goodness.

I've looked for the Presta products, can't seem to find them in store. May have to order online. I'm all for a good inventory of cleaning products.
