wanting these replaced but finding some one is so hard. most mechanics specialising in volvo and waiting time to get someone is 5-6 months, them they charge the earth.

are they easy to do and is there an idiots guide to it.

really wanting to take an interest in boat, know one of the biggest problems is access to engines, im quite handy at diy and quite small, but know nothing about engines. Done a good job at antifouling but the engines are a whole new ball game

I had a 96' 300 that came with stainless steel elbows. I had plan on replacing them when they were 6 years old, but they were in great condition so I left them on. It is hard to do if your manifold bolts won't come out. If you are not small and young, and not a DIY guy, I would hire someone... Its tight in there...

thanks for link, i would love to try and find someone but its knowing whos good and not a cowboy, my dad is mechanically minded but at his age the access will be a issue.

am i right in thinking i read some where to use extra long bolts or have i imagined it
