Is anybody else getting the feeling that B ARRINGTON is a wife. Shit, we have been infiltrated boys. I too never lie to my wife, have long talkes about my feelings and invite her on every boys trip.

I’m a terrible liar. I feel lucky that I’m married to my best friend. I’d rather spend time with her than anyone else and never had use for “boys trips”. And she fully supported buying a new 37 foot boat and putting in a new pool last year.

Maybe I’m doing it wrong. But I’m pretty happy so ‍? Any tips on lying to your spouse so I can get it straight?

LOL...You are fine... I am married to my best friend too.... she is constantly bugging me to buy a bigger boat .... the ultimate perfect wife. ..... but she doesn’t need to know everything and I certainly don’t know everything she does and I am talking some extravagant trips..and what ever these spa things are..... I just look at it like she deserves it and she probably would say the same thing if she knew what I was up to

Wife of 40 years knows every dime spent on OUR boat! No secrets. Most times I show her bill, she says “is that all”. But we don’t really spend a lot, no surprises. Just had Bravo 1 checked out after buying in May, bill was $128.

An overrun without at least a heads up asking you to bend over is just bad business. Overruns happen, but finding out about it via the final invoice is unacceptable. My yard is expensive but they (so far) come in at or below estimate. If they notice something that would add to the bill, they call me for permission to proceed and then revise the estimate. That, IMO is how it should be done.
