Hello all,
In our 5 year stay at Mears point Marina here is just another reason why it's a great place to stay.
I'm sitting on my porch Sunday morning enjoying a refreshing breeze with a much cooler breeze after all the heavy rains enjoying a cup of coffee. The boat traffic in the Narrows is light as it is still early and I notice with the outgoing tide several good size to 30ft logs and trees floating towards Kent Narrows. I know these have come down the bay probably from the excessive rains and higher tides and the Conowingo Dam overflow. As I' am sitting there here comes two of Mears employees in their skiff to fend off to protect our members boats and fuel and restaurant patrons boats from getting damaged.
It absolutely amazes my wife and I how much Mears cares about there members and the precautions they take to help everyone whether a member or not.
This is just another reason to consider Mears as a new home for your boat or a great place to stop by for a visit. Any questions that you may have about Mears please feel free to ask me.If I cannot answer them I'm sure the Mears staff (wonderful ) will be able to help.
Thank you,
Tommy and Beth Thompson
