Mercathode seal/gasket

I’ll be replacing the lines from the trim pump down to the aluminum distribution block next week.

I have the new lines and the 27-98823 gasket that seals the block to the transom. My question is regarding the mercathode that bolts to the bottom of the distribution block. How is that sealed to the block? It looks like there is a rubber seal integrated into the mercathode and no separate gasket. Is that correct?

Built in gasket, it's what is shown in the pic.

Thanks. Just needed some confirmation. I didn’t pick at it because it didn’t look like it was removable.
