HELP!
I thought I would have a deal by then, but now, I'm not sure. One way or the other, if I do not have a new boat deal by then, how do I handle these purchases?:
If it has Tracvision, we'll upgrade it to digital (triple antenna) - Can we make the deal pending purchase?
We will be adding a hyd swim platform. Can we make that deal pending purchase?
Double nav if it doesn't have it...
Cockpit A/C
Glendinning Cablemaster.
These are the features we plan to upgrade our next boat with. How do we make these deals happen if we haven't yet selected the exact boat? It will be an '07 or '08 44DB (or possibly and 09, but if it is, there probably won't be any upgradin' goin' on.

I'm sure you can make any of your boat show deals subject to purchasing your new boat. Have you really thought through some of those upgrades though? The HD Sat is one expensive upgrade ($7500 at the NY Show for KVH HD7), not to mention the huge dome you'll have on top. You probably meant bridge AC not cockpit AC, I'd advise buying one that has it installed already, it can be done but it's not easy or cheap. Lastly, I've always wondered if the glendenning tubs and accesories were put in before the stern enclosure was put on or not. Looks like a tight fit to add after the fact. It is nice to have though, especially if you've got the single 50A cord. A second chartplotter is a must and should only run you less than $6,000 installed. I guess if you buy the boat at the right price putting these upgrades in will make sen$e. Just my $.02. good luck :smt038
This will be our first time to the BIG SHOW and I was wondering if anyone had any advice as far as parking etc.. any info would be much appreciated!
