mid 90s tv/ vcr combo question - 95 330da

ive combed about every searchable thread on the subject and have come across some good stuff. I was heavily leaning towards mounting a 24" on the inside of the helm bulkhead, I wanted to go with a 32 , but I think it would interfere with that hanging locker opening up. so as I sit at the dinette and stare at all possible locations, nothing seems to scream out. the one solution with the flatscreen fashioned to the existing swivel mechanism looks promising, however, if I go bigger, that too will get in the way of the locker etc. so I now have a perfectly good retro original tv combo that I may try to work with. my question is , is there any device out there that will allow me to use an apple tv / firestick device plugged into the aux RCA input in front of the tv?

looks like it may work , but the tv only has a two-rca input (red and yellow) this adapter has the customary red/white/ yellow. would I lose some function or need to use another 2 into one rca adapter to get the red/white into one plug

If you are still playing around with a picture tube TV it's time to upgrade.

Yank it out. Put some angle brackets in the hole..... mount a piece of plywood in the hole to mount your flat panel TV mount to and enjoy.

Install your plywood deep enough so when the new mount is folded flat the TV is nice and snug against the wall.

Post a picture of your current set up.

photobucket is no go anymore and I cant insert a jpeg. my setup is not too mod friendly. there is about 1inch forward of the tv hole to there the hanging locker door is and about 2 inch aft then there is the curtain divider bulkhead.

I pulled up a video of the inside of your make and model and I see what you are saying about the location.

You may need all three for audio and video. It would really be strange if you didn't have the ability to input both audio and video though. Is there another (yellow) jack on the rear?

the yellow is the video wire and the red and white are audio wires......if you only have one audio jack then the unit probably only has mono sound capability.....maybe if you used another adapter to combine the red/white wires into one wire you would get stereo audio output.....but not sure...

thanks. I know its an ancient tube unit, but its in there, fits , works , so I figure I will get some use out of it until it craps out. the replacement option screen that fits in the hole wouldn't be that much bigger anyhow.
