Midberth genny heat

Has anyone added insulated panel board under the mid berth mattress to block the heat from the gennerator and if so, what kind has worked for you?

What kind of gen. do you have?. I bought an insulated sound box for mine that keeps the heat out of the surrounds and is quite to boot.

I also have a Kohler and I got a sound box (shield) that is insulated. Kill two birds with one stone!

DynaMat looks like a nice product, but is expensive copared to the various thickness 4'x8' foam type insulation boards I can purchase at Lowe's that average $10!
