As mentioned earlier this was not the first time he took his ball and went home. The last time was many years ago when again, he got into a pissing match with a few well regarded members that were only trying to help him with his 330DA at the time. It always started the same way. He asked a/some question/s then started arguing with the respondents.
 
Depends on what state he lives in but 20 states are considering legislation to assist in suicide. Help could be there if needed.

Last he was talking about selling the boat and buying a place close to the water or something like that, somewhere off the Potomac.

Based on the time stamps on the videos…..it appears he may stii have the boat as of 3 months ago.

He is a strange one for sure. I watched the video that he did of visiting my marina and frankly it was just odd.
 
BTW his (Mrs. Robinson) last post was December of 2023. I just saw this post from November of 2023 on his taking CBD:

GFs mom uses it to manage back pain, my sister uses it to help with high blood pressure. I eat gummies on occasion to manage, life... :cool:

I have gotten pretty good at managing recurring joint pain using a tens unit, trigger pressure with a lacrosse ball, stretching, etc.

That could explain some of it.........

Ah, I didn't see any of the cruising vids. Only the "How To's".

Yeah to say he was strange is an understatement.

I met him when he first got his boat, seemed normal. Asked I wanted to get together later for a beer. Gave him my cell, never heard back from him on that. He kept his boat here by me for another month. I kept checking in it for him and let him know that. He even asked me to take a look at something for him, so I did. Still never heard back about that beer.

Things progressed on here about his boat and the many questions and the many threads on the same question. Then he started calling me for advice, long conversations explaining things to him. Then more threads right after that acting like he was an expert on the subject and posting quotes out of context about things I supposedly said.

More texts and questions, more of the same, started blowing up my phone arguing with me, got to the point of him asking me not to correct him anymore. Finally had to block him as the texts were pages long with tons of profanity and calling me names etc.

All this started over trying to help him and be a nice guy. Does he need help? Maybe, or is he just an ass and people think he needs help. But this isn't the forum to try and help anyone if they do need help. Unless you can't wire up a stereo that is ...

It's been a slow week.....and frankly Tom .....you never met the guy. What you are hearing is the frustration of genuinely trying to help someone and all they do is crap on you because something is wrong with them.

We can fix boats but we can't fix people.

Over the years we have had maybe half a dozen on CSR that were on a heading of bat shit crazy. It happens......
 
Nothing personal just having a little fun at the poster’s absence. He was getting a little quirky last fall. I did notice his absence though cause he posted a lot….hope he doing well.
