This pic just proves what we already knew. Bayliner owners have "thin skin!".

Thanks for the correction Jim. I think the coloration of the lamination threw me off. At any rate, are they the same thickness or not?
No they are not. The difference was more obvious in person than in these pictures.
The way these boats(BL&SR) are used I'm wondering what difference it makes.I'm sure the BOC guys will insist that thinner is better, and we should feel guilty for taking more than our share of the allotted gel coat and resin....
I restore SRs 50+ years old and the hulls are greatThe way these boats(BL&SR) are used I'm wondering what difference it makes.
My Dad rammed the pier at Beaver Island when the engine quit while docking and punched a hole in the bow.
2 friends of mine own Vikings one is a 72 foot the other is a 62 foot and they really slam Sea Rays along with all the other lower quality boats. They would not consider leaving the harbor in any such inferior boats in bad weather. They talk about thin sides of Sea Ray boats. So goes to show no matter what boat one owns there is always someone out there that feels theirs is better.
