More snow last night

... and they say that Portland Oregon has tough boating weather in the winter. Great to look at, however it sure makes it tough to enjoy the water.

Just watching the local weather. The total for the season is now 130.5 inches. :smt089

Come on SPRING

We can see grass on Cape Cod today. Spring is still a ways off but a little grass showing makes it seem closer:smt001

I saw the grass yesterday, but I had to dig down about 3.5 feet to see it. Had to clear a path for our oil delivery on Monday!

Come on Spring!!!

I feel for you guy's, it was 45 degree's here today so we took the MGB out for a spin with the top down. It felt like Summer!! :smt101 :smt101 :smt101 :smt101 :smt101 :smt101

If there is any positive to be gathered, at least with snow fall above average in pretty much the whole US, our lakes and rivers will not be lacking of water. I remember a few years back when not only were the Great Lakes at record lows, but so were all the lakes in Georgia and the East Coast.

Just looking for a bright side before I go out and shovel last's nights snow.

Lake Michigan is still 9" below chart datum and 13" below last year at this time. At least it is projected to remain stable over the next 30 days. Six month forecast is below chart datum at mid summer.
