I also bought one this past week (Lowes onsale) and put it to the test on Saturday night. Absolutely works and it even cut down on the midgies.

Does anyone have a good solution to repel mosquito's?

Jump the first big ones that are unzipping the canvas, if you can whip them it'll scare off the rest.
